CONTRACT
for Handling and Boarding
Terms and
Conditions:
All dogs taken into my care must have a recent health certificate, copy
of Rabies (required by the State of Pennsylvania) and recent stool sample
checked by a licensed vet.
Any dog which is to be shown must be registered with an entry service on
owner's credit card.
If handler makes entry at his expense there will be a
$5.00 charge per entry.
To pick up or deliver a dog to the airport there is a $75.00 charge.
Owner will be charged for dog's grooming when it enters kennel for show
purposes.
Owner is responsible for all vet bills accrued by owner's dog.
Handler will use his discretion about which dog to show when he has one
or more dogs for winners, group or best in show. The sole criterion
used will be which dog has the best chance to win under that particular judge.
If handler cannot make ring another qualified handler will take the dog
into ring.
If dog is entered at a show and not shown due to owner's failure to make
the dog available at
show, owner will be charged for handling and board as
if the dog had been shown.
Oakcrest Kennel or Howard or Heidi Huber will provide a weekly bill
listing each service rendered.
Oakcrest Kennel or Howard or Heidi Huber must
be notified promptly of any disputed charges.
If payment is not received by the end of the month when billed, a 10%
late charge will be added to the unpaid balance each month, and at the
sole discretion of Oakcrest Kennel or Howard or Heidi Huber, dog may not
be shown. Dog will not be returned to owner until payment is paid in
full.
In any action or proceeding arising from or concerning this
agreement in any court, or before any arbitrator, owner shall be liable for any
attorney/litigation fees or costs incurred by Oakcrest Kennel or
Howard or Heidi Huber . Any action or proceeding arising from this
agreement shall be brought to terms in a court in the State of
Pennsylvania.
Any prize money is retained by the handler.
A return check fee of $50.00 will be charged for all
returned checks.
